District of Workshops
A Glimpse Inside the Workshop
QisaBags studio is located in the center of Tbilisi,
City Center, Nikoloz Kipshidze Street N7, in one of the oldest artisan neighborhoods. This district has been full of artisans’ workshops, and art cultures for many years. The studio is housed in a three-story building that was once a painter’s studio but has since been transformed by QisaBags into a well equipped leather studio. Here you will also encounter beautiful art pieces on the walls from previous owners.
The first floor of the studio space is for production, and leather working lessons. The way in which these spaces are filled with the smell of natural leather, the sounds of hand tools, and beautiful leather products defines the atmosphere of QisaBags studio.
The second floor is where you will find QisaBags’ ready-to-shop collections of handcrafted bags and accessories. The studio is full of warmth, light, raw materials, and character, but it is considered much more than a work space. The QisaBags studio is an artist sanctuary.
